Crafting delicious ready to eat Manuka smoked fish, 10 Knots smokes daily at its factory on Waiheke Island using natural ingredients and is currently stocked in various New Zealand supermarkets.

A little salt, some sugar, and then straight onto slow burned New Zealand Manuka chips — we preserve and enhance the ocean-fresh flavour, ready for you to enjoy.
Good food, fast:
10 Knots fish is ready to eat and easy to use. Try it as part of a cheese board, in a fresh salad, in a hash, in a pie, or in kedgeree.
We have 4 main products;
#1 - Mild and moist, a family favorite. Light smoke and fish flavour, a soft bite that flakes well for a fish pie. Best matched with a chardonnay or lager. We use either Hoki or Hake.
#2 - A complex fish flavour. With a firm bite and a great taste it earns a place on your picnic platter beside a rosé or cider. We generally use Warehou
#3 - A big smokey flavour and a delicious all-rounder for any occasion. Match with your favorite red or a strong IPA. We use Kahawai or Trevally
#4 - Everyone's favorite. Salmon is perfect on bagels, with eggs, in a fresh salad, with morning coffee, celebration bubbles and everything in between.
Owned by James Siddle and Mike Stewart, 10 Knots is named after an ideal wind speed. James loves fishing and Mike loves sailing, they were walking on Onetangi beach when they came up with the name 10 Knots, which they think sums up the smokehouse and the owners connection to the sea.
